I know I'm going to get some backlash for saying this... but the only reason that Hilary Clinton won the votes in Indiana is because of all of those racist seniors!
For those of you keeping up with the elections then you know that Hilary Clinton won Indiana, and Obama won North Carolina. When CNN went over the voting numbers in Indiana they pointed out that the majority of voters under 65 had overwhelmingly sided with Obama! So Hilary only won the state because of the senior citizens. Now I know that a part of the reason for them siding with Hilary was her contributions to veterans, and of course they may just like her views more than Obama's... but come on... these are the same people who abused, ridiculed, and looked down upon the African American race. In my own experience... I have noticed that my husband (who is Nigerian) and I mainly get negative looks from the elderly. They stare, they give us the stink eye... they have a problem with it. So no matter how many people are going to state other wise... Olumide and I both know that the reason she won the state is because those people don't want a black man as president. I'm not saying all of them are racist... but the amount of tolerance between age groups is pretty obvious. Thats all I want to say...
I know people are going to be mad at me
but Im so sick and tired of the racial intolerance in this country. Those of you who think everything is fine now and everything is equal
well you are seriously mistaken. My boyfriend cant even search for jobs online because as soon as someone reads Olumide Said they either think terrorist, or some African who cant speak English. And of course the fact that they dont know how to pronounce it will keep them from calling as well. It just drives me nuts
I have to witness what my husband goes through everyday and it hurts to know how ignorant people are.
I guess I sound biased
but can you blame me? The chances of those elderly voters being at least a little racist are extremely high. Anyways
if you read this
thank you very much for taking the time to listen to my rant. I love you all and hope you have a very nice week ^_^

I don't support Obama, not because of his race, but because he keeps saying change, but all of his ideas are old school republican ideas. If you go to his website, every line of his ideas could have come from a Republican. Plus, he spent 3/4th of his term in office as a senator, running for office of president. he has absolutely no ambition except to get elected president.
Where as, we know Hillary to be for healthcare reform, children's rights, and energy independance.
I cannot think of one original thing that I can say that Obama has proven conviction for, besides what he has said in running for office.
Plus, it is obsurd to say that Illinoise is more racist than Alabama or Georgia. There is a smaller black vote here than most states, and he carried AL and GA. But, I think that is because people in AL and GA are anti women.
Don't worry, I live here, and I see it every day. Good ole Baptist boys hate women in power more than African Americans.
All in all, I wonder why Obama keeps running, when it is obvious that more real democrats support the Clintons.

In the end, it's difficult to say what really made a difference. Can you really trust people to be honest in a straw poll? Who knows?
Considering the lead Obama has in both popular votes and delegates, Clinton should throw in the towel and save everyone further aggravation.

I disagree with what you said about Obama... he has been senater sense 2005, and announced his candidicy in 2007... So it's more like 50% of his time running for president. But with so many people behind him...wouldn't you run? There were a lot of people who were behind him and pushed him towards running. If you really wanted to change things now... before anything got worse... wouldn't you run? He is planning on doing just as much for health care and energy dependence... just because his words have been heard before; it doesn't mean he isn't fully capable or passionate about changing things for the better. I think Hillary's plan for health care in enraging... making people have health care who cannot afford to pay for it is INSANE! Making health care cheaper, like Obama plans, is more realistic and a better plan for us low-income, below the poverty line people.
Plus it seems like she has been doing what she can to make him look bad or questionable. While Obama has tried to stay away from that kind of thing. The picture of him in traditional Kenya clothes (that mysteriously surfaced) had all of the ignorant American's pointing and saying "He's a terrorist!". And then Hillary was like "I have worn traditional clothing for the areas I have visited as well" to make it seem like it's not a big deal... but she isn't black. With an African name. Who is running for president of a country that is known for its ignorant and uneducated inhabitants.
I donno... it's a run-a-round cuz they both have good points. But she bugs me... lol

Just be careful who we call rascist. If Obama doesn't win the nomination, it won't be because he is black, but because some of us are rooting for the other team.

Is it really that mysterious?
For 16 years Hillary has been the victim of conservative bashing to keep her from running. We knew in 2000 that she was going to run, and many have been banking on it. I set in on Democratic meetings here in Alabama listening to our screwed up democratic party waiting on her to take the lead.
She sets on the most important committee in DC, appointed by Bush to oversee the funding of the war. Many Republicans take her advice on many key issues. What has been called a liberal press has passed over her successes for years. Those of us who have been keeping up with the "free" press know that she has passed the litmus test. Bush was the newbie in 2000, and I think many of the now active Democrats see Obama as a newbie like Bush. He doesn't stick to the Democratic ideals of grassroots representation. He scares us in the same way Bush did in 2000.
I think the silent majority set back in awe of what is going on, and when we hear that people are asking Hillary to step aside, we cringe and wonder why Obama doesn't. It is a street brawl for the party. One that may put McCain in office, because many fringe voters are sickened by this whole mess.
What it really boils down to is my generation verses this younger one. My generation wonders what this younger one really believes in, as the younger one fails to see the tried and true economic advantage of having the Clinton "team" back in office.
But, being a "yellow dog" Democrat as my father and his father was, I will vote for whoever gets the party's nomination, even if it means a change in Democratic ideals that have been implemented for over 200 years.
I just wanted to reveal the mysteries of why so many of us will back Hillary till the last person stands
But, I am glad to see so many youngsters involved.
Republicans are rich scum, backing big corporation pigs, lol.
Peace!!!
lol
